He was predeceased by: his father John Stanley; and his stepfather Roy Clark. He is survived by: his mother Susan Dianne Burnham Goodwin; his wife Alicia Pate Goodwin; his children, Joseph Samuel Goodwin and Corovon Desiree Goodwin; his brothers, John Stephen Goodwin, Rev. Jeremy Goodwin (Traci) and Jeffrey Clark (Debbie); and his parents-in-law, Jeanette and Rickey Champion.
