She was predeceased by : her husband Horace Appling; her grandson James Mason Berry; her parents, Daniel Morrison and Annie Morrison; and her stepmother Roberta Morrison.

She is survived by : her children, Michael Appling, David Appling (Nicole), Renae Berry (Bryan) and LeAnn Rivera (Edward); her grandchildren, Brandon Appling, Morgan Berry, Kacey Rivera, Katelyn Appling, Amelia Kate Berry, Rachel Appling, Maddy Berry, Jackson Rivera and Ava Rivera; and her siblings, Lester Morrison, Brenda Perry, Wanda Goldfield and Rosa Rice. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to, Walker County Humane Society.
