With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Deborah Ray of Jemison, Alabama, born in Shelby, Alabama, who passed away on June 16, 2020 at the age of 43. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parent E. G. "Red" McDonald; and her husband Travis Ray. She is survived by: her mother Ann Davis McDonald of Jemison; her children, Anthony McDonald of Montevallo, Christopher Cleckler of Maplesville and Megan McDonald of Pell City; her grandchildren, Hunter McDonald of Clanton and Cheyenne McDonald of Clanton; and her siblings, Stoney McDonald of Jemison, Thomas McDonald of Jemison, Mark Wade of Cookeville, TN, Jean Evans (Rickey) of Jemison, Rose Williams of Chappells, SC, Charlotte Smith of Alabaster, Rebecca Davis (James) of Columbiana, Marie Denham (Eugene) of Clanton, Sonia Wilson of Columbiana, Patsy Tucker of Jemison and Melissa Brasher (Rickey) of Calera. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
The family request no flowers, but encourage donations towards the funeral expense be made at the funeral home.
