He was predeceased by: his parents, Briggs Wilson Gibson and Dorothy Lee Rasberry Gibson; and his sister-in-law Linda Gibson. He is survived by: his son Russ Gibson (Karla) of Hartselle; his grandsons, Jonathan Blankenship (Alanna) of Lake Mary, FL and Benjamin Blankenship (Kelli) of Hartselle; his great grandchildren, Chase Blankenship, Maddie Blankenship, Emmie Blankenship, Andi Blankenship, Ross Blankenship and Brooks Blankenship; and his siblings, Briggs Lee Gibson (Bobbie) of Jemison, Braxton Gibson of Jemison, Benny Gibson (Stephanie) of Clanton, Sally Hand (Ronald) of Billingsley, Wanda Gail Lockhart (Eddy) of Jemison and Timmy Gibson (Debbie) of Maplesville.
