He is survived by: his wife Gail Mims Melton of Jemison, AL; his children, Marshall Melton (Misty) of Maplesville, AL, Ralph "Andy" Melton (Beth) and Catherine "Abby" Smith of Maplesville, AL; and his siblings, Redell Melton of Las Vegas, NV and Rebecca "Ellen" Wood of Centreville, AL.
