He was predeceased by: his parents, Wallace Smith and Norma Jean Smith; and his siblings, Henry, Paul Ray, Richard Smith and Rebecca Perez.
He is survived by: his son David Wayne Smith, Jr. (Amanda); his siblings, Arnold Smith (Judy), Wallace Evie Smith (Kay) and Carolyn Behel; and his grandchildren, Courtney, Sierra, John, Carter and Christian.
