He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Oscar and Ethel Rae Murphree; his wife Marilyn Murphree; and his siblings, Alden, Athel, Roger, Avis and Mavis.
He is survived by: his son Mike Murphree (Valerie); and his grandsons, Henry Logan and Clay Edward Murphree.
