He was predeceased by: his parents, Tommy Holden and Annie Laura Holden; and his brothers, George Lee Holden, Arnold Holden and Thomas "Clevie" Holden.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Joyce Holden; his sons, Garry Holden (Janice), Ricky Holden (Robin) and Mike Holden (Sherry); his grandchildren, Dana Johnson, Kerri Mahers, Michael Holden, Jamie Vanlandingham, Justin Holden and Jerrod Holden; his stepgrandchildren, Adam and Herron; his great grandchildren, Austin Holden, Addison Holden, Emma Mahers, Braelynn Holden, Lilly Holden and Conner Vanlandingham; his siblings, Shirley Collins (late Bobby Collins), Jimmie Holden (Ellen), Dalton Holden (Brenda), Carolyn Thomas (Johnny) and Mark Holden; and his close friend Doris Barringer. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews.
