She was predeceased by: her husband Elgar Parker; her parents, Percy Wright and Mamie Wright; and her siblings, Nathan Wright, Marguerite Holden, Emmett Wright and Madgie Wright.

She is survived by: her children, Elrhonda McCafferty (Tom), Melissa Perry (Robert), Sonja Rogers (Ricky), Kim Parker and Katrina Henry (Vance); her grandchildren, Erin Miller (Wes), Brooke Holt (Dax), Garrett Perry (Janelle), Alexa Perry, Laura Rogers Poss (Kyle), Lydia Slagle (Mark), Clint Black, Chelsea Pounders (Evan) and Rheagan Henry; her great grandchildren, Parker Miller, Nola Miller, Helaina Holt, Cora Holt, Ezra Johnson and Grayson Perry; and her sister Mary Stutts.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the North Carolina Cemetery Fund.
