He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert C. Mann, Sr and Verdell Nix Mann; and his sister Johnnie Faye Poe. He is survived by: his wife Merle Grigsby Mann; his stepchildren, Gregg Pounders (Kim) and Lisa Cottam (Vince); his grandchildren, Collin Pounders and Ashlyn Pounders; and his sisters-in-law, Doris Jackson and Kathleen Phillips (Gary). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
