He was predeceased by: his parents, Josie Pruitt White and Elijah David Knight; his stepfather Farris White; and his siblings, Joe Lance White of Thomas, White Knight, Alvin David Knight, Mary Knight Winkles, Hazel Graveman, Aline Slater, Louise Tolar, Valeria Broughton and Sarah Ruth Gwin.
He is survived by: his wife Shirley Crunk Knight; his children, Kimothy Lynn Knight, Melissa Knight Michael (John Scarborough) and Pamela Ann Knight; his sister Nancy Arnold (Jimmy); his grandchildren, Shayna Knight, Brian Michael (Rachel), Kyler Michael (Jacqueline Buford), Sara Knight (Fabian Odem) and Taylor Knight (Chyna); and his great grandchildren, Kyra Haraway, Mia Michael, Bryson Morgan, Bayley Ray McGee, Chloe Michael, Carley Michael, Asher Michael, Rhett Butler, Ayson Odem and Annalaya Knight.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the American Heart Society or to the Dementia Society of America.
