He was predeceased by: his siblings, Pearlie Paul, Mable Roberson, Laura Jean Bryant, Mattie Chamblee, Nettie Hudson, Myrtle Mullins, Junior Roberson, Hearlon Roberson, Jeff Roberson and Jerry Robinson.

He is survived by: his wife Inez Robinson; his children, Judy Veasey (Michael) of Elba, Lisa Troublefield of Samson, Evelyn McCrummen (Scotty) of Samson and Junior Robinson (Brandy) of Kinston; and his sister Martha Vandegrift of Samson. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
