He was predeceased by : his parents, Robert M. Berry and Lera Mae Sessions Berry; his wife Doris Berry; and his brothers, Robert, Herbert, Arnold and Scott.

He is survived by : his daughters, Hilda Lott (Bruce) of Valley and Dawn Sims (John) of Mobile; and his grandchildren, Taylor Lott (Amber) of Gay and Travis Sims of Mobile.
