With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of James Courtney Alexander (Leeds, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on July 25, 2024 at the age of 76. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As James Courtney departs from this earthly realm, his essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though James Courtney may no longer walk beside us, his spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy James Courtney leaves behind.

He was predeceased by: his parents, John Alexander and Jeanette Alexander; his brother Robert Alexander; and his sister-in-law Mary Ann Maceli (Alexander). He is survived by: his wife Stephanie Alexander (Douglas); his son Zachary Alexander; his sister-in-law Marilyn Drennen; his niece Hillary White (Brian White); and his friends, Jack Connell, Gayla Plott and Barber Clark.
