He was predeceased by: his parents, Hayden Bartee and Laura Bartee. He is survived by: his wife Christy Jackson Bartee; his children, Lillian Ross Bartee and Jackson Moore Bartee; his brother Mitchell Lee Bartee (Rena); and his sibling's children, Katherine Bartee, Ella Jackson, Olivia Jackson, Hayden Bartee and Houston Jackson.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations are made to the Leeds Quarterback Club, c/o Leeds High School, 1500 Greenwave Drive, Leeds, AL 35094.
