He was predeceased by : his parents, George A. Nix and Jimmie Sue Nix of Leighton, AL; and his sister Barbara Nix Johnson of Tupelo. He is survived by : his sons, Michael Brent Scott and Matthew Blake Nix; his sisters, Anna Nix Swindle, Dianece Nix Hollingsworth and Diane Nix Crosswhite; and his grandchildren, Hayden Michael Scott and Harper Rose Nix. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
