She was predeceased by: her parents, Alva Aston and Louise Aston; her siblings, James O. Aston and Lucille Aston Claunch; and her granddaughter Elizabeth O'Neal Allen.
She is survived by: her children, Frank Arthur Spangler (Vicki) of Decatur, Henry Curtis Spangler, Jr. of Leighton, James Paul Spangler (Karen) of Tigard, OR, Patricia Spangler Allen of Birmingham, Nancy Spangler Creasy (Don) of Leighton and Susan Spangler Warnock (Bob) of Birmingham. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, memorials be made to Blythe Memorial Methodist Church c/o Regina Ford 510 McCormick Lane Leighton, AL 35646.
