He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy Vess (Gala) of Tuscumbia, Riley Vess of Leighton, Dorothy Flannagin of Leighton, Opal Patterson of Leighton and Bessie Woods of Tuscumbia. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
