She was predeceased by: her husband William Lawrence Summers; her parents, Henry Lovelady and Altie Lovelady; her sons, Jerry and Thomas Summers; and her siblings, Paul, Howard, Myron Welty Lovelady, Mary Taylor and Fannie Maude Dawson.
She is survived by: her children, Phyllis Letson, Malcolm (Fran), Mark (Cindy) and Joe Summers (Stacey); her daughter-in-law Claudia Summers; and her siblings, Ruth Tippett, Barbara Robertson, Helen Tidwell, Lila Saylors and Woodrow Lovelady. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, two great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
