He was predeceased by: his former wives, Wilma and Dianna; his son Donald Peden; his parents, Robert Peden and Margaret Peden; and his siblings, Elizabeth Osborn, Mary Oldham and Howard Peden.
He is survived by: his daughters, Robbin G. Bratcher of Leighton, Glenda Cole of Leighton, Farrah L. Peden of Somerville and Regina K. Jones of Leighton; and his sister Jane Bergin of Rogersville. He is also survived by four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
