Shirley Trousdale Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 27, 2025, at the age of 100, Shirley Trousdale of Leighton, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward S. Trousdale and Louisa Gargis Trousdale; his son H. Keith Trousdale; the mother of his children Louise Jeffries Trousdale; and his wife Margaret Weatherby Trousdale.
He is survived by: his daughter Pamela Trousdale Kirkland (Steve); his grandchildren, Leslie Thorn (Keith), Terry Kirkland, Josh Kirkland and Leah Frith (Charlie); his great grandchild Erick A. Trousdale; and his stepchildren, Vic, Benji Ragsdale, Tanya Watson, Carl, Thomas Overton and Traci Cook. He is also survived by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Colbert Memorial Chapel (700 US-43, Tuscumbia, AL 35674). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 31st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations made to St. Jude Children's Hospital in his memory would be greatly appreciated!
