As Carolyn departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carolyn. Though Carolyn may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her husband Hilton Dayton French Sr.; and her parents, Reeder Walton and Era Mae Walton. She is survived by: her sons, Russell French Moulton (Bettie) and Dayton French Lexington; her siblings, Ronnie Walton (Lois), Robert Walton (Linda), T. E. Walton Greenville, Shelia Gooch Hartselle and Rita Mae Blanke Florence; her daughter Shari French Crunk; and her sister Jean Hale. She is also survived by 4 Grandchildren 13 Great Grandchildren 2 Great Great Grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Loretto Memorial Chapel (110 N Military St, Loretto, TN 38469). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 15th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
