She is survived by: her children, Tammy Akins and Barry Barnett (Tina); her grandchildren, Aaron Akins, Chantry Barnett (Marion) and Eli Pope; her brother Donnie Nix (Wanda); and her aunt Patricia Weaver.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Elkins East Chapel (7435 US-72, Killen, AL 35645). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, July 9th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
