She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick M. Blount and Sevada Patterson Blount; and her husbands, Byron P. Joyner and P. R. "Duke" Dupuy. She is survived by: her children, Jaye Hamblet (John), Jamie Doty (Steve), Laura Hadley (Scott) and Todd Joyner (Carla); and her grandchildren, Jennifer Holt, Joseph Holt (Jessica), Meghan Moore (Dave), Melissa Hamblet, Ryan Joyner and Mia Joyner. She is also survived by four great-grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Pine Rest Funeral Home (16541 US-98, Foley, AL 36535). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 23rd 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
