With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Weems Jr. (Lincoln, Alabama), born in Sylacauga, Alabama, who passed away on October 9, 2018. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his father James Weems, Sr.. He is survived by : his significant other Rodger Adams; his mother Edith Cox Weems; and his sisters, Michele Truitt (Jack) and Patricia Gourdouras (Lee). He is also survived by several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Dr. James Weems Scholarship Fund at First Bank of Alabama.
