She is survived by : her children, Shirley Walker, Dorothy Carmichael, Ella Swain, Norma Terrell, Rosetta Orr (Louis), Nadine Bett (Grendal), Rita Cross (Wille), Nelda Carmichael, Rachel Carmichael and Jeffrey Carmichael (Sharolyn); her siblings, Minnie Thornton, Howard Heard, Jr., Edna Gilford (Grover), Charlie Heard, Willie Lewis Heard, Debra Smith, Willete Heard, Timothy Heard (Sharon), Bobbie Heard and Betty Heard; and her siblings-in-law, Early Reed, Louise Carmichael, Tearsa Carmichael, Nellie Carmichael, Annie Joe Willis, Edna Skipwith and Robert Smith. She is also survived by 27 grandchildren; 33 great-grandchildren; and 1 great-great grandchildren.
