We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2025, James Earnest Ford of Lineville, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Judson Graves Ford and Addie Burch Young; his grandson Dustin McCay; and his brothers, Sidney Ford and Robert Ford.

He is survived by: his children, Phyllis Harris (Hal) of Lineville and Wayne Ford (Michele) of Delta; his grandchildren, Genna McCay, Kyle Ford (Anna), Haleigh Ford (Trent Williams), Allie McCormick (Brad) and Cory Harris (Brittney); and his great grandchildren, Evan McCay, Kinsley McCay, Hayes Williams and Elena Pulliam.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 1st 2025 from 5:30 PM to 8:00 PM at the Benefield Funeral Home-Ashland (85499 AL-9, Ashland, AL 36251). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
