She was predeceased by: her siblings, Bertha Barnwell, Quincy Mae Willis and Beaury Barnwell; and her husband Marshall Thompson, Sr.. She is survived by: her children, Patrican Gorman of Butler, AL, Deborah Thompson of Lisman, AL, Roosevelt Barnwell (Gloria) and Herman Thompson; her siblings, Fannie E. Kennedy of Laurynburg, NC, Mary Bishop Ruffin of Sandflat, MS, Patricia Harbin, Levorn Harbin and Belove Harbin; her daughter-in-law Georgia Thompson (Ann); her friend Crystal James of Rosa Jones; and her close friend Deborah Marsh. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
