With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Joseph Leslie Prystup of Livingston, Alabama, born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, who passed away on January 3, 2022 at the age of 92. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Joseph Leslie Prystup to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Stanley J. Prystup and Dorothy McLemore Prystup; his former life partner Kathryn Castleberry Prystup; and his siblings, Robert Edward Prystup, Louise Brown, Wanda Wilson and Mary Jo Ulrich.

He is survived by : his wife Elizabeth Allison Prystup; his daughters, Suzanne Prystup McGahey (James) and Leslie Prystup Emory (Jim); his grandchildren, Jeff Emory, Lauren Pezent (Shane), Erin McGahey, Megan Harris and Kelley Jordan (Daniel); and his great grandchildren, Avery, Ethan, Libby, Anna, Cooper, Zeke and Hunter.

The family has requested, out of love and care for each other, for attendants to please wear masks.
