He was predeceased by : his parents, James William Boyd, Jr. and Ruby Hudnall Boyd; and his siblings, James William Boyd, III and Ruth Boyd Rolison. He is survived by : his daughters, Shannon York and Lindsey Boyd of Mobile, Ala; his grandchildren, Tyler York, Zachary York and Barrett Manes; and his siblings, Ed Boyd (Cathy) of Monroeville, Ala, Ben Boyd (Robyn) of Alabaster, Ala and Barbara Friday (Steve) of Livingston, Ala.

The family request in lieu of flowers memorials be made to Boyd Cemetery Association 621 Sumter 24, Emelle, Alabama 35459.
