It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brontavius Anton Dowdell of Loachapoka, Alabama, who passed away on June 8, 2025, at the age of 34, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Brenda Pace (Allan) and Bruce Dowdell, Jr. (Brendnette); his grandparents, Maggie Hutchinson, Mary Dowdell and Bruce Dowdell, Sr.; his siblings, Britt-Nae Dowdell, Cederick Mathews (Ashley), Fred Mathews (Camill), Travis Mathews (Betty), Cederick Mathews Jr. (CJ) and Jamarcus (Oliver); his niece Blessen Dowdell; his aunts and uncles, Wesley Pitts (Ann), Lamar Hutchinson, Timothy Pitts (Kimberly), Lopez Dowdell (Candy), Anthony Milner (Coffee), Tony Dumas, Kesha Milner and Kim Dowdell; and his cousins, Andra Thomas (Timmesia), Vontrez Hutchinson (Kyra) and Fredrica Hutchinson-Turner (Cameron). He is also survived by aunts, uncles, other relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Friday, June 13th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church (7285 AL Highway 14 West, Auburn, AL 36830).
