He was predeceased by: his parents, John L. Huggins and Nancy Saffronia Huggins; his brother Howard Huggins; and his son Henry Matthew Huggins. He is survived by: his wife Wanda E. Huggins; and his children, Nancy Hayes (Larry) and John H. Huggins. He is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Awareness Association.
