He was predeceased by : his parents, R. B. Williams and Nina Merle Jowers Williams; and his siblings, Gussie Maye Smith, Linda Faye Sasser, Otis Carol Williams, Joe Daniel Williams, James Franklin "Pee Wee" Williams and Ricky B. Williams.
He is survived by : his daughter Theresa Thompson; his granddaughter Cassandra Thompson; and his brothers, Bobby Williams, Harold Williams (Karen) and Kent Williams (Phyllis). He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
