It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel G. Owens of Luverne, Alabama, who passed away on January 7, 2021, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by : his wife Lavada Ruth Owens; his grandson Jonathan Garner; his son-in-law Chris Franks; and his parents, Griel Owens and Jewell Carter Owens.
He is survived by : his children, Sharon Davis (Collins), Kay Franks, Lynn Beasley (Bruce) and Jesse Garner; his grandchildren, Timmy Franks, Jennifer Garner, Casey Davis Sikes (Benjamin) and Corey Davis; and his siblings, Jessie Owens (Sharon), Charlotte Thompson (Gene) and Carolyn Hart (Danny).
