He was predeceased by : his parents, George Bruce and Jewell Spencer Bruce; his siblings, Lotherene Brown and Spencer Bruce; and his niece Kathy Montgomery.

He is survived by : his nephew Bob Bruce (Georgette); his nephew-in-law John Montgomery; his great-nephew Josh Bruce; and his great-nieces, Hanna Clark, Bryson Kessler, Mary Ann Hudson and Beth Booth.
