He was predeceased by : his mother Janet-Lee Richardson Ackerman; his brother Ed Ackerman; his aunt Helen; and his uncle Bill Vickery. He is survived by : his wife Amanda Campbell Ackerman; his children, Andy Ackerman and Frances Ackerman; his stepchildren, Anna-Belle McCormick (Brett Boyd) and Tripp McCormick; his father John Ackerman; and his parents-in-law, Gene and Wanda Ruffin. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and friends.
