It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Shirley Diane Neal of Luverne, Alabama, who passed away on July 17, 2025, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband William A. "W. A." Neal; her parents, Joseph "Pete" West and Lena Garner West; and her sister Linda Williamson. She is survived by: her children, Jeremy Messick, Michelle Dunn (Bill) and Carey Sankey (Dakus); her grandchildren, Eli Messick, Dustin Reaves, Anna Reaves, Austin Bryant, Mikayla Bryant and Trey Bryant; her great grandchildren, Briar Lanham, Luna Bryant, Ka'orie Carter and Colton Bradley; and her siblings, Rita Wingard and Martin West. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 8:15 AM to 9:15 AM at the Turners Funeral Home (360 E 3rd St, Luverne, AL 36049). A graveside service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 at 9:30 AM at the same location.
