We are sad to announce that on December 2, 2020, at the age of 95, Sidney W. Jackson Jr. of Luverne, Alabama passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his wife Bobbie H. Jackson; his parents, Sidney "Sid" Sr. and Myra Petrey Jackson; and his sister Betty Gibson. He is survived by : his close friend Mary West; his children, Lee Jackson Moncus, Celia Jackson Partlow (David), Sidney W. Jackson III (Alyson) and Leslie Jackson Moody (Frank); his grandchildren, Sidney Petrey Bagwell, Leslie Moncus Chapman (Bowen), Janie Lee Moody Moncus, Mary Jane Partlow Moore (Branham), Beeson Partlow (Stephanie), Jack Partlow (Sarah), Cece Partlow, Maggie Partlow, Sidney W. Jackson IV (Lysa), Sarah Haden Vance, Diana Katherine Meter (Adam), Townsend Vance and Susannah Jackson; and his brother James "Jim" William Jackson. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins, & friends.

Any memorial donations may be made to the Luverne Public Library, 148 East Third Street, Luverne, Alabama 36049.
