She was predeceased by: her parents, Jeff Johnson and Ethel Johnson; and her siblings, Almon, Jefftee Johnson, Maurie Triplett, Bernell Holcombe and Yemp Johnson Price.
She is survived by: her grandchildren, Brook of Conner, JJ, Jadyn, Anastasiia, Tymur, Jesse and Jessica; and her children, Sonya Chesser, Jay Chesser and Les Chesser.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Mount Zion Baptist Church (228 Mt Zion Rd, Huntsville, AL 35806). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, November 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
