She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Lee Horton and Nora Youngblood Horton; her husband John Hervey Honeycutt; her children, John Hervey Honeycutt, Jr. (Terri) of Madison, Jeanne H. Turner of Madison and Christie H. Serrano (John) of Huntsville; her grandchildren, Terri Lynn Turner, John Wesley Turner, Trey Honeycutt and Megan Serrano; her great grandchild Amber Bowab; and her siblings, Harold L. Horton (Mary) of Madison, AL, Donald C. Horton (Diana) of Foley, AL, Barbara Horton Woods of Grenada, MS, Brenda Horton Tilghman of Tupelo, MS and Debra Horton Burt of Texarkana, TX.. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, cousins, and many special friends.
Due to current conditions with the Corona Virus and CDC recommendations, a family (only) visitation will be held at Legacy Chapel Funeral Home in Madison on Saturday, May 2, 2020, at 11:00 a. m. followed by a private family (only) graveside service at 12:15 p. m. at Huntsville Memory Gardens with Dr. Alan Weatherly officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Alabama Children's Home, 1404 16th Avenue, S.E., Decatur, AL 35601.
