With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Martha M. Smith of Madison, Alabama, who passed away on November 11, 2021 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband George; and her parents, Jesse Ellis Murphree and Angie Mae Hicks Murphree of Birmingham. She is survived by: her children, George Jr., Rhonda and Russell; her grandchildren, Michael, Matthew, Katie and Phillip; and also Colton.

The family requests that donations be made to Hospice Family Care through Huntsville Hospital in Martha's memory.
