He is survived by : his children, Douglas Bonner, Jr. (Cathy), Cynthia Bonner and Jacqueline Bonner; his brothers, Melvin Sims (Shawneequa) and Carl Sims (Sandy); his grandchildren, Brittany Bonner, Chelsea Hardrick, Douglas Bonner III, Darius Bonner and Steven Hardrick; and his close friend Gracie Franklin Williams. He is also survived by loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
