She was predeceased by : her son Joshua Ryan Curtis; her brother Michael Shane Knight; and her grandparents, Garvin, Frances Lucille Knight and Mavalette "Dixie" Carter.

She is survived by : her husband Eugene Hale; her daughter Haley Nicole Casey; her stepson Eugene Carey Hale II; her grandchildren, Noah Curtis, Maci Curtis and Kinlee Riggsby; and her parents, Glynda Sue Clark and Roddie Knight (Faye).
