With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Virgie Mae Ridgeway of Megargel, Alabama, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 3, 2024 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Glendell Ridgeway; her parents, Palmer Davis and Minnie Lee Davis; and her siblings, Jack Davis, Jerry Davis, Gene Davis, Bobbie Jean Sawyer, Eddie Lee Miles, JoAnn Hawkins and Katheryn Helen Davis.
She is survived by: her children, Johnny Ridgeway (Barbara) of Frisco City, Brenda Barrett (James) of Excel and Kathy Cave (Jim) of Frisco City; and her sister Lindy Bayles of Monroeville. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 18 great-great-grandchildren.
