In the vast expanse of eternity, Philip shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Philip farewell, his loved ones carry with them the precious gift of his memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
He was predeceased by: his wife Vickie Sisk Turney; his parents, Everett A. Turney and Joanne Isley Turney; and his sister Elizabeth "Beth" Turney Cato. He is survived by: his daughter Dee Connelly (Michelle).
Visitation will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the New Hope Funeral Home Chapel (2500 Oak Grove Rd, New Hope, AL 35760). A burial will be held on Saturday, May 16th 2026 at 2:30 PM at the Center Spring Cemetery (4753 E Upper River Rd, Somerville, AL 35670).
