He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Paul Peyer, Jr. of Syracuse, NY and Janie Dolores Peyer of Mobile, AL.. He is survived by: his wife Shirley Walker Peyer; his siblings, Karen Peyer Langley, Steven Peyer (Ashley), Debra Peyer Reynolds (Frank) and Emily Peyer Hall (Keith); his grandchildren, Walker Johnson and Stacian Guilford; his pets, Munchkin, Sookie, Diva, Neely and Poppy; Gina Johnson, Shane Johnson (Samantha), James Aldridge, Christopher Peyer and Victoria Peyer. He is also survived by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A funeral service will be held on Monday, December 15th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
Flowers will be accepted, or donations may be made in his memory to the American Cancer Society.
