He was predeceased by : his parents, Roy C. Gordon and Cressie Mae Cogman Gordon. He is survived by : his siblings, Terry Gordon (Annette), Timmy Gordon, Esther Fields and Jackie Salter. He is also survived by loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, brother in laws, and sister in laws and many other family members and friends.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Dothan First Church (3615 W Main St, Dothan, AL 36305). A celebration of life was held on Thursday, April 18th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
