It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of James Dale Richardson (Midland City, Alabama), who passed away on September 25, 2025, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Jack and Boone Richardson. He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Richardson; his sons, Cory Richardson (Amy) and Paul Richardson (Rona); his grandchildren, Amanda Paige Richardson and Andrew Tyler Richardson; his great grandchildren, Clayton and Cooper Croy; and his sisters, Mary Wells, Nancy Corban and Doris Corban. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 4th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in James's honor to SouthernCare Hospice Group and the American Cancer Society.
