With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rhett Beau Battles (Midland City, Alabama), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 30, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his great-grandparents, Helen, Jack Burnam, Margaret Melvin and Elton Battles; and his cousin Carson Davis.
He is survived by: his parents, Daniel Battles and Brittany Battles; his brother Nash Battles; his grandparents, Jill, Chris Melvin, Carol and Danny Battles; his great-grandparents, Willie, Jackie Melvin, Shirley Battles, Sybil Dixon, Robert and Doris Dixon; and his uncles, Nick (Chasity Melvin) and Justin (Holly Battles). He is also survived by cousins and great aunts and uncles.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
