She was predeceased by: her husband Johnny Wayne Tarver; her parents, Benjamin O. Sailors and Esterlene Sailors; and her sister Merylene Sailors Arnold. She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Wayne Tarver and David Bryan Tarver; and her siblings, Barbara S. Braswell (Buddy), Debra Sailors, Stanley L. Sailors (Marie) and Jimmy O. Sailors. She is also survived by two nephews, one niece, six great-nieces, and one great-great nephew, and two great-great nieces, along with several cousins.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Sunset Funeral Home (1700 Barrington Rd, Midland City, AL 36350). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, October 30th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
